MacDonald Highlands
MacDonald Highlands is a guard-gated community in the hills of Henderson, built around the DragonRidge golf course. Homes are mostly custom, often with big stone floors, large-format tile, marble baths and outdoor living spaces with valley views.
Stone in custom homes
Custom homes mean less predictable floors. I might see travertine, limestone or marble in the same house, sometimes with a factory finish nobody knows the details of anymore. Before I quote, I check:
- What stone it is and how it was finished
- Whether there's an old topical coating on it
- How it reacts to water, which tells me about the sealer
- Whether lippage or loose tiles need to be addressed first

- Full honing and polishing of large connected floors so the sheen matches
- Marble restoration in baths and entries, including etch removal
- Outdoor stone on terraces and pool decks. Pool deck & patio
- Scheduled resealing. Maintenance plans
Big windows, honest finishes
Floor-to-ceiling glass and strong light show every flaw on a high polish. I'll test a spot so you can see the finish in your own light before I do the whole floor.
Access and timing
I follow gate and HOA work-hour rules and coordinate with your house manager if you have one.
