What I do
Travertine is the main thing I work on. Walk into almost any house in Henderson or Summerlin built in the last twenty-five years and there's a decent chance you're standing on it. It's beautiful stone. It also takes a beating here. Hard water leaves a film, desert dust grinds into the surface, and the holes that come with travertine keep opening up as the floor wears.
I fix that. I clean it, fill the holes, hone out the scratches and traffic paths, polish it to the finish you want, and seal it. Travertine isn't the only floor I take on, though. I work on marble and other natural stone, hardwood, and ceramic and porcelain tile and grout. On the commercial side I strip and wax VCT, burnish, clean grout, seal concrete, and take on large floors in offices, lobbies and retail spaces.
Travertine & natural stone
- Travertine Cleaning & SealingFor stone that's dirty, dull or absorbing everything, but isn't scratched up or full of open holes yet.
- Travertine HoningThe step that takes out the dull paths, scratches and haze, and makes the whole floor match again.
- Travertine PolishingSatin, semi-gloss or high-shine. You pick the look, and I'll tell you how it'll hold up.
- Travertine Hole FillingThose little dark pits that collect dirt and keep multiplying. They can be fixed.
- Pool Deck & Patio TravertineSun, chlorine, salt and hard water all hit outdoor stone at once. Here's how I bring it back.
- Marble Polishing & RestorationMarble's softer and more sensitive than people expect. It also comes back beautifully.
Floor care for businesses and homes
- Floor Stripping and Waxing (VCT)Old finish off, floor neutralized, fresh coats down. Done after hours so you open on time.
- Buffing & BurnishingThe in-between work that keeps a floor looking freshly waxed for months longer.
- Tile & Grout Cleaning and SealingWhen the grout's gone from light gray to 'what color was this?'
- Concrete SealingProtect concrete from stains, dusting and the sun, inside or out.
- Maintenance PlansA schedule, so your floor never gets bad enough to need the big job.

Real before-and-after photos from local jobs are being added. Until then, see recent work on Instagram: @coconickyvegas.
Homes and businesses, big jobs and small ones
I'll do a single guest shower. I'll also do a 10,000-square-foot office on a weekend. Size doesn't matter much to me. What matters is that the floor gets done right and you know what you're paying before I start.
- Homeowners: travertine floors, entries, showers, patios, pool decks. Read more on the residential page.
- Businesses and property managers: VCT strip and wax, burnishing programs, stone lobbies, HOA clubhouses. See the commercial page.
Where I work
I cover the Las Vegas Valley: Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin and North Las Vegas, including stone-heavy neighborhoods like Anthem, Seven Hills and Lone Mountain. The full list is on the service areas page.
Straight answers, written down
Before I touch your floor I'll tell you what I think it needs, and also what it doesn't. Sometimes a floor needs a good clean and a fresh seal, not a full restoration. When that's the case, I'll say so. You get a written price, per square foot, and that's the price.
If you want to learn before you call, I've written up guides on things people ask me all the time, like how often to seal travertine in Vegas and honed vs. polished.
Frequently asked questions
What does travertine restoration include?
Usually four things: a deep clean, filling open holes with color-matched filler, diamond honing to take out scratches, traffic wear and hard-water haze, and sealing. Polishing to a satin or higher shine is optional.
Do you take small jobs?
Yes. A single shower, an entryway or one bathroom floor is fine. I also handle large commercial floors.
How do I get a price?
Call or text (702) 400-0360. Photos of the floor and a rough square footage help me get you a number faster. Estimates are free.
